In-Store Purchases & Online with In-Store Pickup Purchases

If you have made a purchase in-store OR if you have made a purchase online with in-store pickup, returning your purchase is simple!

If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply contact us via email at support@kkhardware.com, via phone at 563-359-4474, or just come down to the store – any cash register can help you with your return. If you have further shopping to do, other than just returning a product, we can even credit your return towards your new purchase all in one easy trip through the register!

You have 12 months to return your purchase to K&K Hardware in it’s original, or like-new, condition!*

*Returns must be intact, in like-new, and resellable condition. Product packaging must be resellable, i.e. not torn, shredded, etc.



 
 

Online Orders

If you have made a purchase on our online store and had it shipped to you, returning your purchase is simple! If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply contact us via email at support@kkhardware.com or via phone at 563-359-4474.

Gas-Powered Equipment Return Policy

Items that use gasoline, kerosene, or other flammable liquids must be returned to K&K Hardware within 30 days of the original date of pick up, with original receipt, provided that it is in like-new, resellable condition. All returned gas-powered equipment is subject to a 25% restocking fee*.

If you have purchased power equipment at K&K Hardware and the power equipment (including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, snow throwers, generators, leaf blowers, chain saws, pressure washers and other items that use flammable liquids) has become defective or has stopped functioning properly, please contact us to handle any warranty issues or maintenance required. K&K Hardware is the authorized service and warranty center for most products sold in-store. Pick up and delivery charges will not be covered by any power equipment warranties.

Be advised that appropriate maintenance and use of your equipment is required to ensure that manufacturer’s warranty is not voided. K&K Hardware encourages proper storage, maintenance, and care of all power equipment. If questions or issues arise, we urge you to contact us at your convenience at 563-359-4474.

Refund Information

Refunds will be issued based on the original form of payment used when making your purchase. If you are unable to provide the original receipt for your purchase, in-store credit may be issued in lieu of other forms of payment.

  • If the original transaction was completed with a credit or debit card, refunds will be applied to the original credit or debit card used, OR in the form of in-store credit
  • If the original transaction was completed with cash, refunds will be applied in cash, OR in the form of in-store credit
  • If the original transaction was completed in-store and with a check:
    • K&K Hardware must wait 2 weeks, to allow the check to clear through both parties’ banks, before providing a cash refund
    • If, for some reason, you cannot wait 2 weeks, K&K Hardware can offer in-store credit that can be exchanged for a cash refund after the check clears


 
 

If You’re Missing an Item You Purchased

Check the packing slip that was included with your shipment. Items in your order may have been sent in more than one shipment. If this is the case, don’t worry, we won’t charge you any additional shipping fees beyond those you originally authorized. Visit My Account for estimated delivery dates for your order. If you did not establish an account with us, please check your Shipping Confirmation email for estimated delivery dates.

If the estimated delivery date has passed and your product has not yet shown up, please contact us via email at shopping@kkhardware.com or via phone at 563-359-4474. We apologize for any inconvenience.
